We have a range of tyres in stock or can usually order in within the day or the next day.

We only stock quality tyres that can be relied upon to last the distance.

With new tyres we recommend:

that you take it easy for the first 100kms, avoid hard braking etc, even speeds

that you pop in a see us after 6 weeks and we will check that they are wearing evenly

For optimal performance, popping by every 3 months or so will mean that we can keep an eye on them, prevent any uneven wearing and contribute to their longevity.

What information do I need when enquiring about tyres?

Often there is a label at the driver's side door that gives you the tyre information but sometimes the label is obscured or faded.

The easy way to check the tyre size is to check the tyres themselves - they usually have numbers e.g. 215/60R15.

This is the number that you will be asked for - also have the make and model of car, you may also be asked what type of driving you do e.g. around town, some off road, long distance - all this information helps to determine what type of tyre you need.

How often should I check my tyre pressure?

Tyre pressure should be checked regularly.

The pressures in your tyres can be affected by the weather, tyres with uneven pressures may wear unevenly - best to get them checked regularly to avoid having to prematurely replace a tyre.

Call and see us, we are happy to check you pressures anytime we can let you know what the correct recommended pressure should be.

What's your driving tips for the summer?

It's been an unusual summer so far and this throws up some challenges for your tyres....roads that are dry for weeks then get rain can become greasy and unpredictable.

The best option is to keep a safe driving distance from the driver in front which helps to avoid sudden and hard braking. Hard braking puts a lot of stress on your car and can lead to uneven wearing on tyres.

We can help by checking your tyres regularly to ensure all 4 tyres are wearing evenly - we recommend you do this often, at least every 8,000 to 10,000 km's - this is a free service and only takes a minute.
